Ramy Youssef has more than two decades of hands-on international experience in multidisciplinary areas ranging from strategy and central functions to commercial ventures.
Formerly the CEO of New City Developments, Ramy led the market repositioning of the company’s existing projects and launched a new multi-billion pound mixed- use development.
Prior to that, he was CEO of El-Sewedy Capital Holdings, where he formulated the strategy and capital allocation for real estate, private equity, fixed income, and public equities, and designed and executed the Group’s international structure.
He has also held the position of Group CFO at Wadi Group, where he led the restructuring and transformation of the Group, including DFI funding and structuring M&A deals.
Ramy was also BP’s Program Manager in London where he devised the governance structure for the change program across the company. Ramy holds two degrees in business and is passionate about change management and transformation in developing economies.
