1979
International Associated Cargo Carrier (IACC)
established as stevedoring company in Alexandria, Egypt
1983
IACC set up joint venture with Keuhne & Nagel, operating one of Egypt’s premier freight forwarders
Launched shipping activity with multipurpose vessel between Yanbu and Suez
1986
Shifted operations from Suez to Adabiya as first private terminal and marine operator in Adabiya
1988
Launched first multipurpose liner service covering Red Sea ports, introducing the concept of liner services long before containerization in the region
Launched first break bulk liner service between Yanbu and Suez
1990
Acquired two vessels and added Jeddah to multipurpose liner service
1993
Expanded Red Sea and Gulf Services by adding 10 port calls and increasing fleet size from 3 to 7 vessels
1999
Transmar established to connect Egypt and Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and South Africa
2007
Transformed business model and started selling multipurpose vessel fleet and investing in containers
Launched dedicated container liner service between Adabiya and Jeddah
2008
IACC’s various departments were established as individual entities now known as ‘IACC Group’, allowing each division to grow and expand individually
2009
Launched dedicated container liner service between Adabiya and Jeddah
Invested in Reefer containers
2010
Added Port Sudan to Red Sea portfolio
2013
Launched Feeder service for MLOs between Jeddah and Port Sudan
2016
Launched Gulf Service connected Red Sea to Arabian Gulf for Borouge
Connected Red Sea ports to UAE and East Coast KSA (Khalifa, Jebel Ali, Dammam, Jubail)
IACC Shipping and Transmar Shipping were merged to become "Transmar"
2021
Expanded to Sokhna, Egypt, Aqaba, Jordan and Djibouti
2022
Acquired new vessel, MV Transmar Legacy
Launched new market in Pakistan
Closed the transaction of the sale of 70% of the shares to AD Ports Group, as their first overseas acquisition.
2023
Launched new markets in India, Yemen, Sudan, Kuwait and Iraq
