- IACC set up joint venture with Keuhne & Nagel, operating one of Egypt’s premier freight forwarders

- Shifted operations from Suez to Adabiya as first private terminal and marine operator in Adabiya

- Launched first multipurpose liner service covering Red Sea ports, introducing the concept of liner services long before containerization in the region

- IACC’s various departments were established as individual entities now known as ‘IACC Group’, allowing each division to grow and expand individually

- IACC Shipping and Transmar Shipping were merged to become "Transmar"

- Closed the transaction of the sale of 70% of the shares to AD Ports Group, as their first overseas acquisition.
